The cost of living in the USA varies from state to state. The most expensive states to live in the USA are Hawaii, New York, California, Maryland, New Jersey, etc. However, if you find a place to stay outside the main city area, you will find more affordable housing options.

Moreover, whether you want to live alone or with a group also determines the monthly cost. Living on a sharing-basis with other students is going to be much cheaper. If you are sharing your living area, annual housing expenses will be less than $7,000 in most places. But if you don't want to share, your cost might double.

Apart from housing, food costs and other daily expenses also need to be considered. Overall, you will be able to live comfortably with around $1,000 per month if you budget your expenses properly.

In the United States, universities offer one of the widest range of courses and programs to suit the academic interests and career goals of everyone. From engineering to liberal arts, business to healthcare, you can find all courses.

Tuition fees vary depending on the institution and program. On average, undergraduate tuition fees range from $20,000 to $50,000 per year, while graduate programs can cost between $30,000 to $60,000 annually.

However, scholarships, grants, and assistantships are available to help lower these costs. In fact, USA offers one of the highest number of scholarships in the world to international students, making it possible to pursue quality education for people from diverse backgrounds.

To study in the USA, you'll need to obtain a student visa known as F-1 visa. The visa application process involves several steps - completing the online application (Form DS-160), scheduling and attending a visa interview at the U.S. embassy, and paying the application fee.

Additionally, you must provide supporting documents like your passport, Form I-20 (issued by university), proof of financial resources, academic transcripts, and standardized test scores (IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, etc.).

Our consultancy will guide you through this entire process, so don't worry if you are confused. Give us a call or visit our office, and you will be in good hands.  We will ensure that you meet all requirements and present a strong case to the consular officer during interview.
